Welcome to CloudInvoice

CloudInvoice® is an online Invoicing and Management system, certified by the AT under no. 2713 and wholly owned by ALGARSOFT – Informática, Lda., tax identification number 503217239, registered with the Tavira Commercial Registry Office under number 607/940616, with its registered office at Avenida Doutor Mateus Teixeira de Azevedo, Lote 3, R/C Esquerdo, 8800-379 Tavira, hereinafter referred to as CloudInvoice.

By using CloudInvoice, the user expressly agrees to the terms and conditions described in this document.

CloudInvoice is a certified program under no. 2713/AT since 2018-05-08, as stated on the Portuguese Tax Authority Portal at www.portaldasfinancas.gov.pt.

1. Access to CloudInvoice

CloudInvoice is accessed by users via the Internet, using a browser of their choice in the most up-to-date versions for the Windows, Linux, or macOS operating systems, using the mobile app for Android or iOS, or via the API provided by the CloudInvoice system.

  • 1.1. Access Address: CloudInvoice is available at www.cloudinvoice.net.
  • 1.2. User Account: A user account is considered to be the restricted area for the data of each user subscribed to the service.
  • 1.3. Customer: The Customer is considered to be the entrepreneur, company, institution, or other entity that is legally represented by the subscriber to the CloudInvoice service.

2. Service Terms

CloudInvoice reserves the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions governing the provision of the service without prior notice.

  • 2.1. The user may consult the most up-to-date version of the Terms and Conditions for the provision of the service at www.cloudinvoice.net.
  • 2.2. All features of the CloudInvoice service are subject to the conditions set out in these Terms and Conditions for the provision of the service.
  • 2.3. The user accepts and agrees that CloudInvoice cannot be held liable for any type of information recorded in the CloudInvoice system.
  • 2.4. The user expressly accepts that they assume the risks inherent to the use of the Service.
  • 2.5. Any breach of the conditions set out in these Terms and Conditions grants CloudInvoice the right to close the account of the user who breaches those conditions.

3. Account Use Terms

The user is solely and exclusively responsible for maintaining the security of their account and personal access password. CloudInvoice cannot be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from the user’s non-compliance or failure to comply with this security obligation.

  • 3.1. By disclosing the information produced in CloudInvoice, the user declares that they are the owner of such content, releasing CloudInvoice from all liability, namely tax-related or otherwise.
  • 3.2. The user may not use the Service for any illegal/unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.
  • 3.3. The user is responsible for all content entered and activity that occurs in their account. By submitting or disclosing such content in areas of the Service accessible to the public, the user declares that they are the owner of such content, releasing CloudInvoice from all tax-related or other liabilities inherent to the management or issuance of any document.

4. Terms of Use

The user expressly understands and accepts that CloudInvoice cannot be held liable, including on the grounds of negligence, for any type of damage resulting from the use of CloudInvoice by the User or by a Third Party who accesses the User’s data through CloudInvoice using the User’s access credentials.

  • 4.1. CloudInvoice reserves the right, at any time, for technical reasons beyond its control, to temporarily suspend access to the service (or any part of it) with or without prior notice.
  • 4.2. CloudInvoice may interrupt the use of the Service, in a limited and/or temporary manner, namely due to maintenance work, updates, and/or other issues.
  • 4.3. The user expressly accepts that CloudInvoice will automatically provide them with changes and fixes as part of the Service.
  • 4.4. By using CloudInvoice, if you choose to send documents, including but not limited to invoices and equivalent documents, electronically, you trust CloudInvoice as the issuing entity and repository of your documents, including but not limited to invoices and equivalent documents.

5. Copyright and content ownership

All rights to the Service are reserved to CloudInvoice.

  • 5.1. The user accepts that the Service contains protected and confidential information that is safeguarded by applicable legislation.
  • 5.2. The user may not duplicate, copy, reproduce, redistribute, or reuse any part of the Software, Service or Account, or visual design elements or concepts without CloudInvoice’s express written authorization, under penalty of incurring civil and criminal liability.
  • 5.3. CloudInvoice undertakes to maintain confidentiality and not disclose, by any means, the data entered by the user when using the Software, to which it may have access.

6. General Conditions

The user assumes the risks inherent to the use of the Service, exactly as it was made available.

  • 6.1. Technical support is preferably provided to users via email at suporte@cloudinvoice.net, and also via Online Chat, by telephone, and via remote access.
  • 6.2. The service is provided via the Internet; therefore, CloudInvoice is not responsible for any connectivity failures and the resulting inability to use it.

7. Suspension for Improper Use of the API

CloudInvoice reserves the right to monitor the use of its API to ensure the stability, security, and performance of its services.

If it is detected that a user, on an ongoing or repeated basis, is generating excessive errors in communications with the API—namely due to incorrect configurations, improper use, or faulty integration—that may compromise the normal operation of the systems or the quality of the service provided, Cloudinvoice may, at its sole discretion:

  • Temporarily suspend access to the user’s account;
  • Limit or restrict access to the API;
  • Request that the identified issues be corrected before the service is reactivated.

Whenever possible, prior notification will be provided to the user indicating the nature of the errors and the measures required for their resolution.
The suspension will be lifted as soon as the user proves that the identified anomalies have been corrected.

8. Changes to the Terms of Use

CloudInvoice may periodically update these Terms and Conditions.
